ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL ON INTRODUCTION TO DATA SCIENCE
5th JULY – 9thJULY 2021
During the past decade, the world has experienced a massive rise in the accessibility of data related to economics, finance, life sciences, meteorological sciences, pure sciences and other allied fields matched with exponential boom in unprecedented computational power available in the hands of billions. These developments have placed us in a web of data driven world with extensive data analysis being employed for complex tasks such as algorithmic trading or gene sequencing to simple applications including purchase decisions made by consumers on e-commerce websites. As a result, we have a wide variety of data analysis software available that cater to students, researchers, professional data analysts, enterprises and so on. The Summer School hosted by the Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, Mumbai in its current edition comprises of two courses. These courses are aimed towards equipping the students and researchers with the nuances of using some of the most popular software and tools that are commonly available and widely used in academics.
If these and many such questions intrigue you, come and find answers at our ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL 2021.
