Biography

Dr. Anandita Ghosh is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, NMIMS University, Mumbai, with a research focus on Energy Economics, Food Security, and Financial Inclusion. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, where her doctoral research examined the dynamics of digital financial services within the financial inclusion ecosystem.

She brings over seven years of combined research and teaching experience, having taught core courses such as Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition, she has conducted an Executive Development Program (EDP) for professionals at Infosys, contributing to industry–academia engagement and applied learning.

Dr. Ghosh has published her work in reputed international journals and has presented at leading global conferences. She also serves as a reviewer for well-regarded journals, including Circular Economy and Sustainability, Empirica, and Energy Economics. Her scholarly contributions and academic service reflect the depth, rigor, and growing impact of her research
