Dr. Shreya Anurakti

Dr. Shreya Anurakti is Assistant Professor of Economics at Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics (SAMSOE), NMIMS University, Mumbai. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, IIT Bombay in 2024. She has over eight years of combined experience across academia, policy research and industry, having worked with NITI Aayog, YES Bank Ltd., Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), and Fergusson College. Her research focuses on international trade, industrial economics, innovation, foreign direct investment (FDI), technology spillovers and trade policy. She has also contributed extensively to policy-oriented research, macroeconomic analysis, financial sector studies and evidence-based policy recommendations for government and industry stakeholders.

• M.A. in Economics, Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy, University of Mumbai
• B.A. in Economics, Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune
