About the Program:

This program is designed to equip participants with a strong understanding of financial markets and practical data analysis skills. It combines conceptual learning with applied insights using real-world market data. The Summer School hosted by the Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, Mumbai in its current edition comprises of course on DATA. These courses are aimed towards equipping the students with the nuances of using some of the most popular software and tools that are commonly available are widely used in academics.  It is targeted towards students of Undergraduate, researchers or individuals keen at learning more on data analysis in the field of Economics, Management, Commerce and allied fields who are planning to take their first step towards data analysis in their academic and research needs. Both Excel and SPSS have its wide applications in every field of study and is useful to individuals for their future work prospect, internships, Data analysis for dissertation and can be used by individuals of any courses in their further study. The sessions conducted will be a blended learning of theoretical concepts first and then moving ahead with data analysis using Excel and SPSS. The program will also help students understand the working of monetary policy transmission channels and how policy changes influence interest rates, financial markets, and the broader economy.
