Third Annual Economics Conference
The Third Annual Economics Conference organised by SAMSOE in collaboration with The Indian Econometric Society was held on 09th March 2019. The keynote speech on ‘Emerging Fiscal Policy Issues in India' was delivered by Dr. N. R. Bhanumurthy, Professor, NIPFP. The conference talk on the subject ‘15th Finance Commission: Implications for Centre-State Relations’ was delivered by Dr. J. Dennis Rajakumar, Director EPWRF.
Mr. Hersch Sahay – Assistant Professor from SAMSOE and Mr. Prashant Parab – Ph.D. candidate from IGIDR won the best paper award along with a cash prize of Rupees 7,000/- individually at the conference. Mr. Yash Shah - 2nd year M.Sc. student from SAMSOE and Ms. Payal Singhania - student from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics won the best paper award along with a cash prize of Rupees 5,000/- individually at the Research Colloquium.
