"Bad writing precedes good writing. This is an infallible rule, so don’t waste time trying to avoid bad writing. Anything committed to paper can be changed. The idea is to start and then go from there.” - Janet Hulstrand
The curriculum in SAMSOE is rigorous and challenging. Amidst our students’ academic commitments, they have also been able to explore avenues which are not part of the course. ‘Scroll of Thoughts’ (SoT) is a virtual scroll which provides a platform to all the potential writers of SAMSOE to pen down their ideas and share them with their college-mates. The magazine includes mesmerizing poems, enlightening articles, insightful thoughts and captivating entertainment in form of stories, puzzles, brain teasers, book and movie reviews etc. The SoT team is young and energetic, comprising of members who have experience in framing, articulating and editing write-ups to members who have just started their journey in the field of Economics with fresh ideas.
You can now stay tuned to the writing club through the blog site and Instagram handle of SoT:

The team also welcomes any pieces the students and alumni would like to contribute for its Economics and Non-Economics sections. You may contact the team or also send feedback and suggestions, at sot.samsoe@gmail.com.
